The original plastic front gearbox housing has two versions, the old version and the new version. They are not universal, so when purchasing, please be sure to compare the picture description and confirm your version before purchasing.
How to determine the version?
1. The old version of the gearbox has no holes (as shown in the picture)
The new version of the gearbox has openings (as shown in the picture)
2. What is the difference between the old version and the new version? As the bearing dimensions of the differential have changed, so have the dimensions of the gearbox's mounting location.
3. The old version of the gearbox needs to be used in conjunction with the old version of the car bottom and the old version of the differential.
Likewise, a new version of the gearbox needs to be used with a new version of the chassis and a new version of the differential.
4. If your version is an old version, but you want to replace it with a new version, then you need to replace the car bottom, front and rear gearboxes, and differentials with the new version.
